I have no interest in children. I went to a consultation at planned parenthood and scheduled the surgery. The procedure was easier than I thought and had a nice conversation with the doctor while she worked on my balls. Discomfort started two or three hours later, but pain meds, a dank indica, and an ice pack reduced this significantly. I basically laid around for the weekend and took that Monday off work even though I didn’t really need to. I was still sore for a few days, but it wasn’t bad at all. I was mostly careful about straining myself and avoided anything physically demanding.
I had sex a week later. no blood or pain. just felt weird.
My partner helped by bringing me food and being an awesome, loving person.
Full recovery within two weeks.
Took a semen analysis 9 weeks later and given the all clear.
No issues a year later. I cannot tell the difference other than a small scar in the center of my scrotum.
Highly recommended. would vasectomy again.
